ABOUT NIGHTFALL
I've always loved experimenting with backgrounds. Why does sand always have to be portrayed as yellow? Why is navy only associated with water? This one can be interpreted at Night, as deep ocean, as mayhem, as black sand. My intention was to capture a feeling of nightfall on the beach when the hot sand is finally cooling but the stragglers remain.
