ABOUT COPA SLSC
Copacabana on the NSW Central Coast is my beach. It's where it happens for me every summer. This piece is very much about a feeling rather than a scene. It has a sense of chaos and confusion, it's muted like the dawn after a banger of a party and how I imagine the Copa Gen Z's would be feeling the day after one of their raging DJ-in-a-tent sessions on the beach. The same could be said about the day after the Bernie's beach house parties.
